Does speed runner have multiplayer with friends?

Yes, its possible =) but you are cant join to ranked gather.its only possible on quick match or custom match with "search player" option.

out of curiosity you guys play with controllers? find it hard on keyboard

Keyboard is usually considered better at higher leagues and afaik everyone on this thread so far is a kb player. Alot of people remap controls tho so maybe consider that

Yea... I tried controller but I didn't really feel it, and the keyboard controls you start with are silly. My controls are-

Movement = WASD

Boost = Left shift

Grapple = Backslash

Item = Close bracket

taunt = F

Player info = Tab

That's what I use and I have had no problems with it at all. So if you're considering keyboard controls, I highly recommend this layout for optimum performance :) (by the way hit me up if you want a semi-good/semi-humorous/semi-social player!)

Agreed with Seraph.You better have jump and grapple buttons together to keep up. Look up for Metanet01 tutorial on youtube to see what i mean

They is a tip for playing ranked with your friend, just launch a Ranked game at the same time, and "enter a new match" if you are not in the same lobby. With a friend we found each other this way. It may not work when you don't have the same rank, I don't know. It works because the player base is not that huge so it's cool.

"coughs" controller is better, I know there are some people that I know I'm trying to sound like a selfish prick alright, I'm not being serious that can take you keyboard goons up for a good fight. So why don't you go and try-hard on entries will ya.
