How to resolve - Ravenswatch 1.0
Greetings, Ravens!

GENERAL SUPPORT

General solution
Let's start with the basics:

Could you please try to reboot your computer and launch the game again?

Could you please try to shut down the Steam application and open it again?

Could you please try to verify the intregrity of the game's file?
→ Open your Steam account, go to your library.
→ In your Steam Library, right-click on Ravenswatch and go to "Properties".
→ Go to the "INSTALLED FILES" tab
→ Click on "Verify integrity of game files"

How to switch language
Ravenswatch supports twelve languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. You can switch language in your Steam library:
→ Go to "Game properties"
→ Select "Language"
→ Select your language

Controllers are not recognized with the game (Steam, Unbranded)
→ Navigate to Steam (upper left)
→ Settings
→ Controller
→ GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS
→ Check PlayStation or Xbox Configuration Support following your game controller model.

Lost my Saves
A conflict can be created between local saves and Steam Cloud saves. We recommend to turn off Steam Cloud to prevent this issue from happening. You can find your local saves in this folder: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ravenswatch\_Save
Make a copy of Profile_1.ob and store it in a safe place to have a back up of your progress.

Graphical issue (leading to Crash sometimes)
A conflict between your screen resolution and the game can occur. We recommend to switch to a standard screen resolution.

If the issue persists, send us a DXdiag:
→ To get your DXdiag, type "dxdiag" in the Windows search bar
→ Launch the DirectX Diagnostic Tool
→ Click on "Save all information"
→ Save the .txt file on your computer and send it to us! (contact[at]passtechgames.com)

ONLINE SUPPORT

No Codes in Lobby

Please make sure that your internet router is up to date with its last software update.

If no success, we recommend using a different internet connection (another provider, cellphone sharing…) or a VPN until we provide a stable fix.

You can provide us with your connection logs:
→ To get your Connection logs, go to this folder in Windows: Steam\steamapps\common\Ravenswatch_Logs
→ Take the last logs automatically generated

Teammates get 'Unready' in the Lobby
You and your friends may need to force the connection between the parties. To do so, download this file and follow the steps below: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1c8-FpEumaqr7hNUfELcXxLIANcLWxESQ?usp=drive_link

→ Go to this repertory: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ravenswatch\_Save
→ Paste the GameSettings.ini file that you downloaded into the repertory
→ If a previous one was already here, replace it with the new one
→ Launch the game and set up a party with your friends

Delays / Desynchros / Disconnections / High PINGs
Please provide us with your log files automatically generated in this folder:

DX12 ERROR

Any DX12 errors while in-game
If you have DX12 errors during loading or gameplay, you should try to lower your quality settings:
→ Go to the Game's settings
→ Click on "Graphics"
→ Change from "High" to "Medium" or "Low"

Additionally, you can try to update your GPU drivers.

DX12 Error 0x80070057 - Outdated version of Windows
The most common cause for this error is an outdated version of Windows. We only supports Windows Version 1909 or above. Furthermore if you are on Windows 1909, the update KB4598298 has to be installed (the OS build number should be greater than .1350).

As of today Windows 1909 have fallen out of support from Microsoft, so we highly recommend updating to at least Windows 10 21H2.

DX12 Error 0x887a0004 - GPU that does not support DirectX12
This error occurs when a GPU that does not support DirectX12 is used.
It is likely caused by hybrid graphics configuration, make sure that the dedicated graphics card is used.

Additionally, you can try to update your GPU drivers.

DX12 Error on Steam Deck
If you are playing on Steam Deck, make sure that Proton's version is set to "Experimental" in the game's Compatibility options:
→ Go to the Game Properties.
→ Choose "Compatibility", then enable forse use version
→ Choose "Proton Experimental"

When are you gonna fix the broken multiplayer? Accepting invites thru steam does nothing and you cant add anyone to your party.

Hello,

Lobbies should be stable now. If not, waiting a few minutes will let the time for the server to generate the code to share to your friends or the ability to use the matchmaking system.

We're working on the fix and are monitoring the situation. Sorry for the inconvenience

Is achievements not popping for people, and unlocks not unlocking until relog/quest outfits not unlocking at all known?

I believe they know about the achievements at least. A developer replied to someone saying modifiers disable achievements but I earned some achievements in a match with modifiers. So it seems they screwed up somewhere trying to disable flags for achieves under certain circumstances.
I'm just going to wait a week or two, hopefully they will have it sorted.

My friend and I are the same issues. 9pm CST on 9/30. this post is 5 days ago. Is this still an issue?

I started a thread about this , hopefully they find a fix or a clear unswer. Thinking the same as you to wait a week or two

regarding the lost saves

played a lot on pc and now launched from steam deck. for some reason steam deck didn't sync the cloud saves from pc and when I logged from pc, it synced empty save from steam deck, now it's all lost
any chance to restore the progress? had a 9 lvl character there

ps: weird but only the skins got saved :D

Help please, tried to launch on my laptop and got DX12 Error 0x887a0004 and already tried update window and drivers, verify game file integrity, etc...
Nothing seems to work.
