DX12 Error 0x80004005
I get this error the instant I hit "Play" (no loading, no menu, nothing).

On windows 10 (on mac via bootcamp)

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19045) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4771 CPU @ 3.50GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.5GHz
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M

I had this issue too, I turned EVGA Precision X1 off and now the issue is gone as long as I turn it off.

Oh interesting. How do you turn it off? Is that a setting? Or do you mean the EVGA software? I don't believe I have that installed.

Hello can you share a DxDiag report?
Please make sure that your drivers are up to date, I had a report from someone today with the same error (crash when clicking "Play"). Their driver was from 2017, updating it fixed the issue.
