DONT UNDERSTAND the DAY'S GOING and the BOSS at the END
Hello

I just began the game, and see the thays are going on and after the 3rd day a have to fight a boss. But It's just impossible to win because of the difference of strenght. Can someone explain me this point of the game please?

Thank you and good day/evening!

Hello!

You have 3 days (18 minutes) to get as strong as you can before the first Master Nightmare wakes up. You grow stronger by leveling up to improve your abilities with talents, and by collecting Magical Objects.

Killing enemies gives you XP, but what earns you the most is completing "activities" on the map, such as Grimoires of Monsters, Tumors, Optional Quests, etc. (represented by different symbols on the mini-map) as well as giving you many other perks.

Once you've defeated the first Master Nightmare, you're brought to Chapter 2 where another cycle starts!

Hope that's clearer :)
It's not really impossible i thought it was at first too you just gotta get efficient with the quests you complete in the meantime and also try to find the miniboss that takes off 20% of it's hp you should get him after a couple of runs, i find the second area normal enemies harder then the first boss
Its a very difficult, frustrating, and cheap game. The problem here is many people who play this game LIKE this punishing style of gameplay for whatever reason. And thats AWESOME there are so many different games for different styles. But these folks tend to confuse that with "its not that hard" but...it objectively is.

There is a huge difference between "I like this difficult game and challenging game" and "its not that hard you just need to play more"
It's very winnable, it's simply a question of playing and getting better at the game. I probably win about 80% of nightmare 9 games, haven't tried the new difficulty system yet. I'm not saying it's easy but it's far from impossible.

Seems pretty similar to old 9. Its essentially the same for me.

skill issue :sans:
Is what I'm hearing that gameplay is on a timer and when times up, you are forced into a boss whether you are ready or not?

Only asking as this will be a deciding factor on purchasing this game. I do not like timed challenges in game.

Yes. You have 18 minutes i think to get stronger, then bossfight starts. But after a few runs i got quite used to it. I was sceptical at first to. Now i actually run out of stuff to do before the bossfight happens. I usually are able to grab everything important like grimos, chests, money and the quest.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
