Geppetto Dummy De-spawn needs tweaks
Geppetto is one of my favorite characters in the game. I got my first nightmare win with him. There are lots of creative things one can do with this character and I enjoy that. However, the way his dummies de-spawn NEEDS tweaking. I understand that it can be a quality of life improvement for the dummies to de-spawn if you walk too far away from them, however there are more instances where this severely harms the player than there are instances where it helps.

1. There is no indication of the range at which the dummy will just despawn immediately. And it happens IMMEDIATELY. There should be a range indicator, an icon, a glow and grace period before it happens so you can correct, or something. So many times I barely go out of the range and lose half my kit. This is especially bad with the "Overclock" ultimate ability. You spawn 3 dummies, hammer blow one of them just a little too far while moving the opposite direction, cast Overclock and suddenly lose out on a third of your ultimate because of a slight misstep.

2. It RUINS the power certain talents *could* possibly have. Namely, the one that lets you suctions multiple dummies into his power, as well as the vacuum talent on special. If you position dummies well, hammer blow into a thrown special, that slingshots two of your dummies to the far end of a group of enemies, sure you get damage from that but you suddenly lose half of your dummies again and now have to wait an excruciating amount of time for your trait to cast two more times, after already having to manually summon the dummies that just "died" without ever taking any damage

3. It makes tanky dummies mean far less. I like vitality stacking with the trait that shares dummy vitality. I like using the special applies regeneration + rockets build. However, no matter how much healing you might have and how little damage the dummies are taking, you could get forced to step too far away and all of that means nothing.

4. Boss fights are AWFUL in so many cases. Why oh why do dummies despawn from range in BOSS fights. Its an enclosed arena, and the player should be free to manage the positioning of their dummies as they please! Especially when setting up for a powerful, full strength Overclock ult, or assimilated mecha puppet can take SO much time. You finally get all 3-4 dummies out and on the field, alive, and then right as you go to ult you have to dodge backwards a little for an un-blockable attack and again, dummies despawn.

I like this game a lot but this is the single piece of any character's basekit that feels SO awful to a player, punishing them often, suddenly, for objectively doing the RIGHT thing, which is taking your time to setup and play smart, and avoid damage. It is TOO easy to despawn dummies in this way and I would greatly appreciate some tweaks that make this less punishing.

Additionally a small point I meant to make but didn't was really to drive home how there is such a lack of clarity when that happens vs a dummy being destroyed. It is frustrating to even tell what to avoid doing!

Would also be nice to allow dummies to stay alive when Geppetto gets downed tbh
