Day are more AoE or close range focused with shot spreading like a shotgun, Night are more single target and ranged oriented with a stranght shot you can aim more easily.
is it not the oppposite? The night nodes pierce enemies while during the day they dont (but more single target damage up close)
The best strategy is to completely ignore the rats in my experience, do not pick any talents that improve them. There is one upgrade where the rats dont expire within special, thats the only good rat power imo.
You need to pick upgrades for power or attack only, and it has one of the highest dps potentials in game.
the point that is annoing for me is if u have the perk where your auto attacks deals more dmg at long range and your spell but you have to stay close to deal dmg.
the issue I have with him is that he is very difficult to gain early momentum with, which can ruin your run. At high difficulty he has trouble dealing with POI mobs and key events, and you waste your clock trying to clear early zones. Makes it tough to earn those first few levels and gain skills/items which will allow you to be more effective.
By contrast, Aladdin has a GREAT kit for the early meta in a run, and you can smash tough POI locations with ease, allowing you to earn key skills which help you gain momentum.
TL;DR Piper good late game, sucks early game for high difficulty.
