What is meta progression like in this game?

I like roguelites more than “likes” bc I like rpg feel of “unlocks” and gradual improvement… what’s in this that accomplishes progress between runs?

Not the game for you. You only unlock stuff that can show up in future runs. You also unlock so,e characters. Nothing to elevate your starting position like more hp/damage or whatever
