We'll be balancing all the heroes during the Early Access of Ravenswatch, but introducing a new character to the team is always tricky! We don't want to make them to overpowered or underpowered, and finding the sweet spot can take several tries. We're listening to feedback, so we'll improve that in future updates :)
Cheers,
Yeah don't nerf him ^^
He is not "op" in itself. He just shines in solo play thanks to the dummies.
I think it is very important to make sure characters are "powerful" enough to be considered fun for casual and lesser skilled players. Having difficulty ranks where characters feel strong and op is a valuable thing to have. Handicapping characters for the sake of balance will hurt the casual player base in the long run.
Now when it comes to the hardcore player base, personally I think the main focus should center around adding more difficulty tiers into the game. If nightmare 9 is too easy, add 10,11,12,13, etc.... (Of course tier tweaking will be needed as well)
You can also create a custom option where players can tweak all sorts of percentages. Players can go the extra mile to challenge themselves or choose a custom difficulty that suites their skill. Balancing a character around players skill level is for sure a tricky thing.
I don't know what the game will look like when it fully releases. Will you keep the tier system the same? How will the maps form together? Will the maps effect the difficulty in any way?

I think so too. But some characters already feel behind a bit. Should not matter to casuals tho.
Higher difficulty would be nice but maybe instead of just making it harder and harder I think it would be better to make them more unique at the end.
no ult but 2 more other upgrades
only ult once but with higher damage
after using a skill it gets locked until you used 2 other skills
corrupted powers which turn your upgrades into negative effects for a straight buff on something else
