jesus man chill out
well you got super worked up over a joke lol. I don't know why the other guy making a joke about you getting paid for posting way too much would imply that he is greedy either??
and this is just you being offended
this is too tbh but again: what makes you think all he cares about is money or that he is greedy and focused on money? all he did was make a joke about you (the joke being that you get paid for commenting a lot because he couldn't think of a different reason why you would feel the need to do so)
sry for the text wall everyone (an off topic one as well), have a great day
ZexxCrines post was a joke lol
I came close ONCE but i always just get beaten by the mobs.
But I really stink at this game so I thought it was just me.
They can be easier co-op but even if they are the time sink is pretty steep for what you get. They are exceedingly difficult to do solo. Unreasonably so tbh. Most people share that sentiment so definitely not just you.
I placed some tips in another thread but an easier way to tackle them solo is approaching them at the right time and doing a bit of scouting before hand.
First thing you really need to do is be around level 4 or 5 ideally. with a little skill and practice you can get there around the 12 minute mark, try to ignore single groups and instead pull them to another one before committing to the kill. some of the little packs of rock throwers can be 1 shot so feel free to knock a few of those out at you're passing through with skills but don't stop moving and keep heading to poi's for items/crystals/grimmoires.
Next each pig's house has a specified location on where to get the supplies to repair it, at 20 the house has ton of Hp and should survive.
First and best tip is get the teleport close to the pigs house. I've missed it sometimes and missed turning in materials by a few seconds. also always start heading back to the house at the 1 minute mark if you're not done you need time to get there and turn the stuff in don't cut it too close.
For the straw house you're going to have to go to neighboring zones usually you'll see raised wooden platforms these have a stack of 6 and about 5-6 singles spread around the area, You can find these locations before taking the quest so you know where to go. This is easily the hardest to do due to the nature of having to kill every enemy before looting and the distance you have to run to get to them.
The wood house materials is secured by killing Treants, no scouting is really required for this one as the locations it sends you to are usually swarming with them to kill. The best tip I can give for maximizing efficiency in farming is to grab the house event during the day, If you haven't noticed yet certain enemies have different behavior's depending on whether its night or day. treants will spawn a group of spiders on death so that's just more to deal with before grabbing wood (but it is also more xp so it's up to you), you should be able to get 20 stacks fairly quickly and teleport back in time. This is usually easier than the straw house to get resources for.
The stone House materials are located in a few single piles around the immediate area and in two mines located around the same zone you're in, usually in the circle around the pigs house. Find these ahead of time so you know where you're going each mine has about 5-6 singles and a stack of 6 stones between 2 large rooms that are connected. once you get used to it this one is by far the easiest to do as the materials are all close by and the mines are fairly easy to clear out.
As for the defense of the house as long as you got like 16-20 materials it should be sturdy enough to take quite a few hits let it tank as the game will prioritize hitting it over you. dispatch enemies as quick as possible and don't be afraid to spam your skills or use your ult on large groups or the big targets.
as far as the rewards go the worst I've seen is two rares and a legendary, but usually its at least 1 legendary and 1 cursed item to chose from which based on what you have can trivialize your entire run. It definitely could be a little easier but it's not as daunting once you've cleared it once. I will ignore it in about 50% of my runs because I look where I'm at level and item wise and decide it's not worth my time this game espcially if it find it later in the run (13 min + on nightmare 9 or about 15-16 on anything lower)
Youre telling me you can play the game and get to level 4 or 5 in TWELVE MINUTES?? Teach me, senpai.
are you saying you've never beaten the game in normal mode? or hard mode? because normal mode was definitely possible. mobs are braindead, dodging them is super easy. the boss was slightly challenging (the space is very crammed and attacks are harder to dodge) but when I focused more on killing all tentacles first and dpsing the boss after it became doable
people have figured out on the discord that if you get good enough at doing the house quest you can get to level 5 at 7 minutes which is just nutty to me. the mistake being made in the meta currently is assuming that running from point of interest to point of interest is the fastest way to gain things. turns out the earlier you hit level 5 the faster you can clear out points of interest.
I've already been pulling 20-30 mobs together for every bigger objective because I felt like more enemies do not take more time to kill (almost all your damage is AoE damage in some way). I felt like it was more worthwhile to group them up in big groups.
However I've been going about the game completely differently. I never do any pig houses. I tried it on my first run and couldn't find the stones fast enough, so after that I only collected money, opened chests, used hp shrines and killed big groups of enemies. Idk seems more natural to me. Should I try to do the chests? I feel like there isn't enough time
Yeah that makes a lot of sense. But one would have to know the routes for the quests by heart right? I don't feel like learning them and running the same path every game, sounds very boring
