Diablo IV Release Date ... i hope this will sell well.
Bought the predecessor, i hope this game can stand his ground against the domination from Diablo IV. And no, i dont think the differences are so big that you will play both.....
So, fingers crosssed.

3
The second game from Blizzard that wishes it was Diablo won't dominate anything other than ignorant gamers who don't know that Diablo ended after Lord of Destruction in 2001.

Hmm, not sure.
I hated Diablo 3, i loved Torchlight 2 (a lot), i loved Grim Dawn.
I think that Diablo 4 "could" do it right.... for sure we have to wait and play it and avoid a little bit the "hypetrain".
Neverthelss, lets hope for the best for Ravenswatch.

You can't steal Lilith's breast milk in Diablo IV, Blizzard failed to deliver the true Blizzard experience.

Oof. You'd think they'd be more wary of that considering how much Hades overshadowed CoTDG. But maybe it was a very unfortunate timing, you don't always get to choose your deadlines in game development.

Buddy and me hope to play this until D4 is out. Hopefully it's as good as it looks.

After playing the D4 beta I imagine a dual wielding dagger Rogue there will play similar to the red riding hood character here or maybe the scimitar dude. However I think they will appeal to different audiences. Still will probably be some lost sales, but hopefully not enough to leave the game unsupported after launch.

l don't understand the original post.
This game releases in a few days. D4 does in June 6 if i'm not mistaken.
As above user noted also.. they don't really target the same people.

Anyway let's say they DO share audiences... wouldn't the hype for D4 actually HELP this game sell? You know for people to tide themselves over till the main course with another good looking game that's bound to be cheaper also?
Am i missing something?

Ravenswatch comes out into early access (for a year, according to the store page) in a couple days. So maybe there's a tiny bit of overlap? I agree it's a bit of a stretch though.

frankly ravenswatch apeals to me more, i like building characters for that run. Rather than building the same character for hours.

You prefer the roguelike genre rather than the action RPG then.

It's likely that Ravenwatch is going to benefit rather than lose by being early to D4 release, people are on hangover from D4 open betas and need something for the itch. Including me.
