A couple of reasons:
- PB was born as an MP experience. This is SP and I don't think the AI will be smart or quirky (or even dumb!) enough to replicate what a human player would do during those council situations
- its title, The King Dilemma: *Chronicles*, sounds like this is a prequel or somehow an "introduction" to the real deal. Otherwise they would have called it TKD (and it'd be in its description (as it was done for Gloomhaven
"<@162615934740070400> The story content is largely the same as the board game, it’s a different way to experience the same story. The video game ending is expanded with new dilemmas, I can’t explain more without spoiling the game!"
And my reply
"Ah gotcha! thanks for the info! I'm a bit torn now cause knowing the game is largely identical to the physical version, I'm sure it would be 10x better if there was the possibility to play it MP as opposed to SP. At first I thought it was a prelude or similar but now that I know that I'm experiencing the same content, somehow I feel less inclined to keep playing it cause I know I'm missing a good chunk of the fun that the physical version provides.. You ever thought of implementing MP?"
I think the end game might be more in depth in this as well, but i havent finished either version to say for sure.
