Talkor needs a early game buff
Its the hardest to play character early and not really fun. The best strategy for playing him on harder difficulty is to die on purpose (when u have the healing mastery to come back alive). You get 66 gold after getting revived and then its fine.

Its really bad to make that the best choice...

Weird, he's by far the strongest right off the bat for me. Have you grabbed the "start with +5 gold" upgrades? They make a world of difference, especially if you ascend early.

What riteclick said. Make sure you have all the starting gold upgrades then bee-line for the first ascension crystal. He still needs a bit for his AoE to come online but he's very doable early.

I have nearly every upgrade... Iam playing this game for a very long time ^^ For lower difficulty you are right and yeah, later he is a really strong hero. But his early sucks, when a lot of enemies spawn early.

Huh Talkor murders everything for me. Only thing I can think of of is you not going rushing chest and cool-down reductions.

If you're lucky you can find a decent aoe weapon early on to carry you to the point where the coin gets good enough. Getting his special skill early also helps a lot, because you can get legendary upgrades along with relics and sometimes weapons.

lol if Talkor were buffed for early game, he'd be a broken character. guy is strong asf past 50 coins. yes early game is harder than others because his tree can be filled out easily and he just walks through swarms late game.

He's supposed to be a late-game pay off character, the challenge is to get him set up initially. You need to play skillfully and have some RNG on your side. The Relic Exchange helps with that. Go for the coin bag relics or Golden Mushroom

Hes by far the weakest toon. He's actually garbage compared to anyone else

The problem I have with him, is that you have to kill yourself to avoid the bad early game. If you die, you come back with 66 gold and with 66 gold you are in his strong phase.
Thats absurd and shouldnt be a thing...^^

He needs to be good enough so you dont want to do that or (/and) "fix" this thing, that you get more gold after dieing... ^^

He is absolutely useless on hard and expert, especially on maps with environmental effects like freeze walls. The only place where he is strong, like people say here, is on normal.
Or get lucky with literally any other weapon from the start. Coins, that are supposed to be best for him with all the synergies, are the worst weapon in the game. Get hit once and its a snowball to death.

he is uber strong with several setups.
gold coin flame aoe. (dont take endless purse) coins everywhere with huge aoe :3

or

Cooldown reduction + endless purse, having 300-400 coins makes your chest ultimate go down to like 19 seconds

he is Risk/Reward character.

dont get hit = good run
get hit once or twice and u should just Retry :-I

Asking to buff Talkor is insano imo... The character is already insanely strong, his endgame is pretty much impossible to die, his transforming enemies into gold + pool of fire + AoE combo is just insane, you literally have a full screen full of pools of fire dealing DPS.

He should be weak at some point, that is just balancing. If anything, they should remove his "revive to get coins" tech in order to make him a really hard character, but I can see why people wouldnt like that when there's people that can barely play him as he is.

Talkor is not just "not useless", he is a killing machine. He is the easiest character on expert difficulty even if RNG is not on your side because his coins start to hit for few thousands of damage when you have a lot of them, and if you are lucky to get some synergy artifacts he becomes unstoppable on any difficulty, artifacts like "Mirror Mirror", Twin Blades, Last Breath and especially "Greed" which gives % of damage buff equal to number of coins you have. And I usually finished level with with him having 400 - 1500 coins, this means 400 to 1500% of damage buff to EVERY weapon.

The only thing you must do with him is not being getting hit in the first couple of minutes, after that he become stronger than enemies and it's becomes really easy to avoid any damge.
