Thx for the advices !
How do I get or equip that sapphire ? Is it a levelup pick ? Or a talent ?
I'm stuck at C Rank necromancer. Dud pulls a ton of damage in his last phase, and minions are really tankish.
I did pick as much armor piercing as possible while upgrading my weapons and defense as well, but it's still not enough.
The regular playthrough (in quickmode), not challenge
I just didn't think I'd need a "guide" for that kind of game. I hope this thread helps other players.
D rank... dual weilding gives the knight's amulet... which are all pretty random. you can equip two of em at the start of a game, that gives you those weapons... then switch to your playing gear as soon as you enter a level... the boost from trainers gloves and the extra weapons from the knights amulets will stay.
If you don't get what you want from the knight amulet on dual weilding, it's best to run it until you get something you like.
I find death aura as my main with trainers boost useful... then I add katana and the purple scythe one cause they got decent def / pierce return.
If you choose that method... the nice thing about death aura is say you're getting your ass kicked by that necro... In the last round as you go into it the special skill of death aura is making it expand really wide... so engage that... mine's a down click on the joystick... and that alone can give some room to breathe.
Yeah... it's more... a helpful hints bit. All that info can be found in game... but it's good to have the reminder when/if you're stuck cause the game is fun once you start being able to build up the gear set. And I personally love how dash works in RG... along with a lot of other things where it would break other games but doesn't break this one just using what we're given.
