Rogue: Genesia
extreme fps drop as a summoner in zone 6 and simmoner and bad summoner dmg in end
I played it with ROG once, and after entering zone 6, the game crashed and ruined my entire progress for the run.

Then I tried it with summoner. Extreme FPS drop from zone 4 onwards, very little damage, slowly building up, and it dragged on until the end of zone 6.

Zone 6, when I was at level 220+, I couldn't die at all, but the damage was so bad, and because of the extreme FPS drop, it dragged on from Vampire Queen onwards.

If there's already an extreme FPS drop with summoner, how about the other avatar with more weapon effects? That still needs work xD

Despite a good PC and the few FPS I have, I'll skip runs for now and leave it at the first clear.

I don't want to play with other characters again, where the game might crash and delete the entire run xD :D

It was cool, I just wish summoners did more damage too. At the same time, I was invulnerable despite the low FPS at the end.

Apart from that, if you take away the extreme FPS drop in zone 6, it was actually quite okay, even if it was a slide show.

I have no idea what would have happened if I hadn't been so unkillable and had better FPS on the Zone 6 boss, but it seems to me like the lives of the Vampire Queen and the Zone 6 final boss were way too much (or I'm overlooking a mech where it's faster, but it was my first fight and it dragged on)

Rog mode or survival? I did survival with rog and it was the same. Fps is 6 no matter the settings in that zone.

i had something similar but with the "Arboreal Forest" stage. i recently brought the game and just unlocked that stage before the last patch and for some reason there is major slowdown all the time during play, checking the task manager shows my GPU usage rockets up 91% on that stage while in the plains and dunes it very rarely even goes about 45% - on High settings

Interesting. I had some serious slow down myself with summoner during my run. But it really occurred after the fight took a very long time. My experience with the summer is that it usually has less lag because there are less projectiles flying all over. (I've set the option to have an unlimited # of weapons which usually gets me in trouble with lag beyond 8).

no idea if this will actually send but i just beat the game like that.
also were you using the talents that give you more summon damage any time a summon dies and the talent that gives summons more damage any time they damage an enemy ever? as far as i can tell they both stack what i assume is infinitely.

also how did you actually loose progress with a crash? i have even blue-screened after tabbing out of the game for a few moments and it saved everything

Don't ask me how I got to the Queen after my game crashed and the progress save from the runway crashed. Bugs and errors are always common.
I don't question them, it can happen as long as my entire save isn't deleted. Screw it. A new run isn't the end of the world. Annoying, yes, but not a huge loss, as it won't be my first run and won't be my last, so it's just a shame that one run isn't more and less for me.
Mistakes happen and will keep happening. Getting really upset is a waste of time. I'll write it here if anyone else has the same problem. OK, or am I the only one?
What bothers me more is the drop in FPS starting with Queen, especially as a summoner. I was invulnerable due to upgrades, but I had permanent slow mode, especially with the final boss. That bothers me more than the loss of progress.
And the fact that the summoners were weak, but it could also be due to the feeling of how long it took. Slow mode in zone 6

I don't know if normal modes would be just as weak, but I had that feeling, and with Queen, the crystal was always attacked as the queen, although there was a fix or update that changed that.

Honestly, I wouldn't be invulnerable with summoner ending. With all the upgrades, I would have finished the run, but I was vulnerable in the run, and I still wanted to complete it in slow mode since I can't die anyway. It's more than the extra time it takes. Then I watch Windows mode streams/documentaries on the side, which is fine, I don't have to focus on the game if I was already invulnerable xD

Almost crashed during a boss fight.... using that Crystal Shards summoner ultimate skill all at once, filled the screen with hundreds of summons....whoever thought that would be a good idea for a skill isn't that bright. "Oh, you can do insane damage, at the cost of all your FPS, maybe even at the cost of your PC!" yeah....

Yes, I'd basically agree with you. With a good PC, there are more effects, even if you have it at 1%. Not just in Summoner, no matter how good the RPC is. I have a good 4080, 64GB RAM, SSD, etc. So if it's the PC, I'm surprised I can play other games with high FPS, and in Rogue Genesis, I currently have a strong FPS drop at the end of zone 5/all of zone 6.

So it's not my PC. If that were the case, it would be in all games, which it isn't. XD

So far, the crash has only happened once with Rogue on the way to the Vampire Queen, and then not again.
