Key and Gamepad Binding

Is it possible to unbind keys? I am trying to setup my controls to how I like however the default preset can't be unbind-ed from what I have tried, I have to instead reassign the action to a random button which for a game pad is annoying as I prefer to use for it for something useful.

Echoing this request, especially as it seems like left stick is by default assigned to two overlapping tasks.
