Light Spirit doesn't drop
I have the achievement completed that unlocks it and allows it to drop. I've actually had it drop once but only once in about 20 games, and that's with equipment that increases sun card probability.

Is there something I'm not doing to make it drop, or something I am doing to prevent it from dropping?

Light Spirit only drops if you have 25 card levels (which you probably do) and at the very least 50 corruption.

Thank you for the response! Is this indicated somewhere in the game and I just missed it? If not, would you consider putting this somewhere perhaps in the description of light spirit itself?

The requirements are in the advanced card info. Go to encyclopedia -> soulcards, then click on the light spirit card and you'll see it.
