Someone posted a screenshot on the discord that shows they dd it in glass canon with weapons cleaver, crossbow, katana and magic wand. They also said they used was duellist and had trolls blood.
C survivors, shopkeeper, the key elements are sage's leaf+evasion. Scythe can wait, you'll get plenty of levelups later.
How to play: max out banish, then use at the first opportunity on every pure power/piercing/defense card, all unneeded weapons, all harmful cards. Upgrade weapons ASAP, enemies scale fast. You'll probably need a good L7 by the ~7th minute, the first evolution by 15th, evolved L7 by the 25th or something like that. I personally started with katana (artificer variant, tried sylph, suffered badly), it felt better here than my usually favorite shuriken route. Evasion: the faster, the better, becomes absolutely necessary in the beginning of the 2nd in-game hour (no amount of scythe projectiles seem to stop enemies on time, even with double limit breaks on everything). Scythe can wait another hour or two, possibly more.
Expect many restarts, C-survivors mode is brutal in scaling, and you gain the needed cards in time very, very rarely.
Just got a run with 93% dmg reduction (thorns 8 lvl) and about 8500% defence + hp + regen. Got shredded with 2-3 shots after some time in E Survivors
The point of Thorns Talent is not Thorns or Thorns Damage Mitigation, but the Talent. It gives you a period of invincibility and together with Sage's Leaf it allows you to minimize time in Anachronistic for permanent invincibility.
A bit of an old video but here's an example:

Followe this guide it helped me:

Did you take Portal shard artefact or Fractal card as these can result in you knocking mobs towards you instead of away. Or worse yet Attraction knockback pulls instead.
From what I seen from my attempts what killing us is the poison from the poison elites since this does % health damage for x seconds.
The way to avoid this is to have enough knock-back and/or killing power to stop them reaching us. The problem is some can still sneak pass the knockback/kill wall. I believe because of lag.
So we need something to protect us in this case this is where the invincibility shields come in. The main one is Sage Leaf though you need to use Anachronistic and/or Thorns talent to cover the cooldown time when it turns red on your bar.
Not 100% sure if this one will work but I think there's a 3rd way to survive get Trolls Blood + Commoner's Guidebook and stack life regen mainly from Healthy for 1,000 of life regen per second and out heal everything.
I managed to pull off a success this time by investing in Flight And Flight and just running constantly. With 1000% attack speed, I had a bubble of protection that worked most of the time. Sometimes the champions managed to get out from under the swarm and catch up, but dashing/anachronistic time/spamming the weapon special knocked them off long enough to get them buried again.
I suspect computer quality is going to make a big difference in what works to get this achievement, and I very much do not like that feeling.
