Get an item that reduces your max HP
Heal
Infinite Money
No more rewards for this run, and way less soul coins.
Went into the shop without full health.
Purchased cursed belt (that's the rng, it needs to be there)
Purchased a heal which shows -345hp, and it broke the gold.
Took about 20 runs for me.
You can do it in one run if you know what to do :
- Removes Soul Shop regen upgrade
- Go F rank Rogue
- Get the numerous items that reduces natural regen > negative regen
- Go for the numerous shops (only real RNG part as Cursed Belt isn't obligatory here and you only have so much shops)
2. find shop with relic that halved your hp (glass blade/cursed belt), you could reroll the shop etc it didnt matter as long as the shop have the relic and you not at full health
3. buy the relic so your hp got halved>then buy the HP heal, the result is your money will turned into NaN which is infinity money and you should got the achievement
Check his video of when he got a weapon to lvl 9 for the first time, and you will know what i'm talking about.
Edit: I was taking too much damage before going into the shops. You have to have more than half of your life
So you admit that there is RNG involved in it. I spent an hour last night trying to find a shop with one, couldnt find it or the sword.
Edit - After a few more tries I was able to get it because my RNG gave me both shopkeeper artifacts. After a few re-rolls the ring appeared. I bought it, healed, then bought everything else to max out my character.
There's still some. But you have a lot of tries before you can't anymore, and it's almost obligatory to get the belt / sword after all the shops you encounter.
If you then save and exit, and then load the run, it should reset you to before the shop, so you can have your cake and eat it too.
Caveat: I'm playing the beta, so ymmv.
Thanks, by the way. I almost never heal at shops, and pretty much ignore that option, so I likely never would have found this. I think I actually saw the option once, now that you've explained it.
Due to the fact it dilutes the relic pool and doesn't have a useful effect, you are better off not unlocking it.
