Can't seem to save progress?

Just trying out the Demo at the moment and unless it's not a feature in the demo, why can't I exit a run and continue later? I can see everywhere in the forum that people are able to continue their runs, but the option isn't on the main menu and isn't there when I click on "Rog". There's only an option to start a new rank F run... I just lost 2 runs midway because of that and that's putting me off buying the actual game quite a bit!

I haven't tried the demo so can't comment on that part, but in the full game there are 2 modes, a Rog Run in which you can save your run in between areas, at least until you win or die. Then there is the survival mode in which you just stay alive as long as possible, this mode cannot be saved.

There is only the Rog mode in the demo and when I press Exit Game in the stage sélection screen (after clearing 5-6 levels, or more), it just doesn't save my progress for when I come back. And no, I'm not pressing End Game. I'm really confused.
