Ascended Cards: Shouldn't be so hard

Hi to all!

Currently I've unlocked everything in the game (even the ??? achievement) BUT one: the - 20 defense one.

I've played the game literally over 50x already (have beaten the game, manage to do long survival runs etc.) but once, ONLY ONCE I managed to get an Ascended Card.

I know they are supposed to be super rare because they are so powerful and stuff. I know that some people have reported that "Oh, I got three in the same run".
But there should be a way to make it a bit less frustrating, especially when you want it at least for the achievements.

My idea would be: make it buyable ONCE per run in the shop. It can be expensive, I don't mind.

But I think that would help a lot and wouldn't brake the game allowing players to have at least one Ascended per run.

(PS: I'm sure that after writing this message, RNGoddess will troll me and will give the card needed LOL. I'll let you know if that happens. But even so, my suggestion remains)

in 20h (35 hours total playing time) I fell 3 times on these cards, having bought the first upgrade of the soul shop

Ok, guys, it happened EXACTLY like I said!!

After writing that message I went on to play a Survival Mode. On the 29'30", level 94, I got the Martyr card. Since I had a Rarity Reroll left, I managed to get the Lunatic card.

I like this Idea, like how blacksmiths have an overlimit for sale, couldn't normal shops have an ascended/evolution card for sale? expensive as heck, but possible

I've seen an overlimit in a normal shop before.

I've only just hit 50 runs... but that was ONE time out of all of those.
It was mid way through the first zone on E rank for me.
I should add it was after I rerolled the shop.
I assume it's very rare, but i can confirm it exists.

Of course I was too broke to use it...

the easiest part would be to restart world until you get a good world with mostly a chest every 2nd path or so.. and hope you get training weight and midas as first relics..
That way you can max out most cards faster and thus increasing your chance to find ascended easier until you already find them on lvl ups ^^

There is also a upgrade in the soulshop that increase the chance for them to appear so buy that, after i bought the upgrade i find them all the time.

they can have it, but only with the better odds in shops relic...

53 hours, I've had Martyr come up once, rerolled it to Lunatic, and took it.

33 hours and seen about 12 of the ascended cards BEFORE finishing the soul shop. They're rare and powerful, but hardly necessary for all but the longest survival runs. I think if you've gotten the upgrade from the shop that the drop rate is fair. Lunatic is a free win, Martyr AND lunatic would mean an insane survival time. The games in beta, i cant wait to see what cards and how those new cards will drop in the coming patches.
