Cloud sync wiped my progress

Have been playing on my Steam deck mostly, did a few runs, got a few nice soul shop purchases and unlocks, closed the app on my steam deck so the save would sync to the cloud, boot it up on my pc, and the progress was all wiped, which then synced to the cloud, overwriting all of my progress. Fortunately, it was all that much progression, but its really disheartening to see all of that lost.

Is this resolved yet? The developer said that save data is only saved locally however I’m terrified I’m going to lose my progression if I try playing on my PC. I’ve mostly played on Steam Deck only

I've been jumping back and forth between the Deck and PC and it's been fine. The only issue I saw was that I was on Stage 2 of World Run, and that progress hadn't saved to the cloud, maybe that's saved locally? Once I finished the stage/died, I exited and the game synced just fine and I made my next run on my PC without issue.
