New Content!

Health bars!
Now you can finally see just how much (or how little) health and mana you or your enemies have dynamically during combat, without having to click on them or wait for your next turn! We will be improving upon this feature over the coming months to bring more detailed and real-time information to the player during combat.

Quest List HUD!
There is now a new Quest HUD that allows you to see your currently active quests! As we continue to develop this, we're aiming to bring features like more streamlined quest tracking, display toggling, sorting, and a bunch of other neat stuff.

Demo Currently Unplayable

At least for me. I boot up the game, it goes to the first screen with my character lying in bed, and someone greets me. But try as I might, I could not get the dialog to progress. I pushed every button on my keyboard and clicked everywhere on the screen. And I could see that my mouse was actually interacting with the game world because when my cursor was over my character, it showed my name in the top corner. I could even move the text in the dialog box up and down, which was amusing, but ultimately ineffe...

Bug Fixes
Fixed some typos.
Fixed a few bugs that were preventing some animations from playing during combat.
Additional minor bug fixes to performance issues.

Additions
Added quest content in town.
Added new dialogue.
Added a few new items in the world.

Changes
Temporarily disabled party member switching.
Moved some interactions.
Balanced some abilities for combat.

New Content!
We've made some big changes to combat, including new abilities and some reworked animations. The Warrior, Mage, and Rogue classes now have more specialized skillsets to improve upon synergy between other characters and classes during combat. We will continue to implement new abilities and features as we develop Silentium, but here are a few descriptions for some of the new abilities you may find in this update.

Rogue-
Cheapshot: Life has not treated you well, and you’ve learned to survive… by any means. Take your weapon, and bludgeon the enemy in their weak spot.

Firebolt: Fire a quick bolt at the target. When firebolt hits the target, it will explode 2 squares around the targeted area.

Lethal Poison: Slash the target with blades covered in a poison coating. This attack never misses, but its efficiency may vary.

Mage-
Magic Missile: Cast magic missiles. Arcane energy surges at the enemy, and there is no hope for them to evade. Magic missiles always hit, but can never critically hit.

Arcane Focus: Grant +2 Int and Will for 5 turns.

Arcane Siphon: The caster may replenish up to 15% of their MP reserves at the cost of 10% HP.

Fireball: The mage channels the power of Ryukk. Concentrating a burning ball of flame in through their weapon. The caster releases this powerful ball of flame.

Frost Nova: Focus a powerful explosion of ice from your hands, encasing your foes around you. This ability freezes any creature or humanoid in place. This ability will immobilize enemies 3 squares in each direction around the caster.
