Guessing at least around Army of Ruin price? which is a game that feels like it was inspired by yours although it came out first

If it's more than 9,99 (euro).. the devs will have a hard time with this. At least I wouldnt pay more before official 1.0 release.

I was thinking the same thing, more than 10 bux starts being a bit much for a game like this for me

If the price is more than 3.99 the devs will have a hard time selling it.. the reason these games do so well is because of their cheap cost. People are not going to spend more than 5 euros for a game of this nature. At a low cost, you sell thousands of copies, even a dollar or two more makes it go into... i'll wait territory.

Cheaper cost also means more reviews = more trending, more people playing it and talking about it.. it's a win win for everyone.


At 3.99 you can't not get it.
At 5.99 you will have many more people on the fence.

I agree with $4.99 being the most reasonable. The vast majority of these games are in that price point. It will be a lot harder to justify purchasing this game if its above $10.

Decent depth and stunning visuals when compared to all others in the genre. So I will guess $12.99 or $13.99.

I'd assume $20, although a lot of its assets are purchased they've built a lot of hype. Whether or not that's worth it is subjective. Personally i think 12.50 on early release and 20 on 1.0 would likely be a sweet spot.

I purchased Army of Ruin recently (which graphics are comparable to this), and I really enjoy it, and as we can see the reviews are positive which means ppl can totally justify $4.99 price tag for games like these (it has somewhat become the standard price).

Unless this game has something very unique to offer, ppl will get turned off if the price tag is $19.99 or more.

From playing many of these games I'd say anywhere from 4.99 - 9.99$ at most.
