How to get keys?

I have 8- 10 Crates in my Inventory but no keys!

They're in the shop, and different types can be found on the player market.

Play games. Get drops. Sell on market. Get Diamonds. Buy Keys. Open case. If you like the item, keep it. Otherwise sell on market and repeat. ;)

Is there a better chance to get it at Ranked or Unranked? Is it RANDOM with the keys?

Keys seem to never, ever drop, as is the standard with F2P games. Gather enough diamonds to buy the 10 pack of keys, if you must unlock crates.

Note that half the stuff in crates is only currently functional in airmech: wasteland, the RPG version of this game.

ive got keys dropped in wastelands well 1 key. but only played 2 hours

You can get keys in many different ways: Buying them in the shop/players market, Getting them as a star drop in wastelands (You can only get one per day), 2nd day reward when etc

We actually break with tradition of many Steam games in that we have non-real money ways to get Keys. Standard prices for many games is $2.50 per key, with no other way to get them.

We have various ways to earn/win Diamonds, and even a small chance to get them from Daily rewards, plus some Quests.

Trying to get back into Strike and Wastelands after not playing for years, and I'm still trying to figure out how exactly you can get Keys for free (besides the inconsistent daily rewards). The player market is neat and all, but I'm finding it hard to get something valuable to put up there unless you've already started funneling money into the game for Diamonds.
