First time playing, can't login

Hi D&D fans,
I've created a user for the first time the other day
But I keep running into the same error of ''incorrect username/password'' and basically never got the chance to play, since it's failing and never gets past the first login.
I've tried repairing, re-installing and looking for advice online, but it's all in vain.
Wanted to try and download the launcher from the website, but encountered security issues over there and so dropped that.

Is anyone familiar with those issues and care to share some advice?

I've also opened a ticket for support, not sure how long this might take.

Perhaps you mistyped your initial password or username. Did you send a "forgot password" request. You may be able to just change your password that way.

Also, have you ever played Lord of The Rings Online? As it is by the same company, and if you already had an existing account, it may not let you create a new account with the same e-mail. There is an issue to linking a LOTRO account to a DDO account, but you can contact customer support to get that sorted, or try creating an account with a different e-mail.

If you are having problems making an account on the website:
- Make sure adblocker extentions are disabled and turn web scripts blockers off.
- Make sure Javascript is On in the browser you are using.
- Open a fresh browser, Type DDO.com in the URL bar and enter, click on Register link at top right corner of page.
- It has a ReCaptcha thing that you have to check to complete the account, if you fail the reCaptcha, your signup fails.
- It has a Terms of Service and Privacy Policy Check mark that you have to complete for new account.
- Valid passwords are between 8 and 15 characters and Must have at least 1 capital letter, at least 1 lower case letter, and at least 1 number, all within 15 characters. Don't use spaces or apostrophes, only use shifted number special characters !@#$%^&*()
- Make sure you have confirmed the password.
- Make sure you put in an Email address that has not been used for any other Turbine or SSG account or game.
- Make sure you have put in the date of your birth. You have to be 18 yrs. old to signup.
- Make sure your Username is unique for this signup. At least 1 capital letter, at least 1 lower case letter, and at least 1 number. A valid username should be between 6 to 25 characters, and can contain alphanumeric characters, commas, periods, and underscores. Sequential underscores are invalid.
- Try different web browsers like Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Opera, etc.
- Try a different device like a smartphone, laptop, or tablet in a different location.
- Try making account at different times, or keep trying, if it fails. Maybe website is too busy or Down at that time.
- If you are still failing, be aware SSG blocks IPs from certain regions of the world, try using a VPN to sign up, you can play later without the VPN.
- Make sure you are using an email address that will stay with you wherever you go, like a website email service and make sure they don't close that email address from lack of use or no payment.
- Make sure your email account is Not sending mail from SSG to the spam or blocking it.

Make sure you check your CAPS LOCK. Either you had it on while creating or accidently hit it when you went back to log in.
