Steam/ddo store
i gotta say i thought i might of had issues like others i've read but i had 0. i never called or emailed steam or turbine to use ddo points. i clicked on store. it brought me here. then i added money through steam. did my info then bought the points. voila i had to refresh the store and there they were :) woot.

this was not meant to troll anyone. im just glad i had 0 issues with using steam and buying points. that is all.

There's a good chance that if you keep playing and buy points every so often, Steam will eventually block your transactions and you'll have to contact them to get them unblocked, but yeah, having no problems playing is not uncommon at all.

steam/turbine customer support: That's not working as intended. We'll fix that ASAP.

Turbine sent me to Steam Support, who sent me back to Turbine. They say DDO is doing their best to fix this issue .
I understand it is a matter of which currency you use - mine being Norwegian Kroner, and those are not working.
I haven`t been able to buy Turbine points in DDO store since September, when Steam changed my currency from Euro.
Certainly high time they fix it !

oh im sorry to hear that. i wonder if that is part of the problem with other currencies outside the usa. yet again not a trolling post or anything like that. since i live in the us. i wasn't sure if maybe that is why it worked for me. of course i have only done it once as someone pointed out it might lock up later.

No, @tenin - there is no problem using US dollar or Euro at DDO store.
If you have any problems later , which I doubt, it will have to do with something entirely different.
No need to be sorry , of course :tokitori:
And happy gaming ! DDO is a lot of fun

Turbine does implement a built in frequency throttle on turbine point purchases to cut down on the impact of compromised account purchases. If you run up against that WB customer service (via phone) is able to override it on a transaction level.
