Thank you for your request. Per the issue encountered, with the launcher closed out please attempt these steps below:
1.Click on the Windows "Start" button and choose Control Panel
(On Windows 8 hold down the Windows key and press X and select it from the menu)
2.In there, click on Network and Internet and then Internet Options
3.In there, under the "Connections" tab, click LAN Settings
4.If "Automatically Detect Settings" and/or "Use a proxy server" are enabled, click to deselect the option and click ok.
5.After that if either one was enabled and then disabled, launch Internet Explorer (IE and the launcher share these settings) and check that www.turbine.com can still be reached (ensures that disabling it does not affect the browser's general connection).
6.Once that is confirmed, launch the game to test again.
