* Well last year it was 46 quest packs and this year I counted 48, but I couldn't tell you want the new one's are.
I'm glad SSG did this. I already bought all this stuff a long time ago, but hopefully it gets a few new people trying the game. And it is more in line with what other older MMOs like EverQuest have done, where you buy the newest expansions, and you get all the content before it for free.
Go to the in-game Store, click Account - Adventure Packs and then click on the various level ranges. You should see only a few expansions and things like the 'extras' from a couple of packs. Alternatively, wander around the map and revel in the fact that all the questgiver chalices are gold without any red highlights.
Steam won't have a clue. Steam and DDO integration isn't that tight. Steam only sells a few DDO adds.
You can also tell on the LFM page that very few LFMs will have the 'you don't own this pack' highlighting (regrettably, I've forgotten what that looks like ;) ).
You should also get an email from Xsolla (store people) that lists the 'purchase'.
For checking in game, open the store, click on the down arrow by your name and choose 'HISTORY' from the drop down and it'll show all the in game store purchases back to 2015.
Yeah, I actually bought the 99pt Ravenloft on an alt account that I never play before I realized that I already had it. I heard on the DDO forums that if you bought the expansions from the DDO Market previously, they will still show up in the DDO store. If you bought them from the DDO store, you won't see them. So if you bought stuff from the market, make sure you aren't buying it again I guess.
I think the system see's the 1495? pt version as different from the 99 pt version. I'm sure vice them going into the system and changing the cost, all they did was suppress the old and create a new sales item for 99 pts. So as far as the system is concerned, you haven't bought the 99 pt one and doesn't have a clue you own the 1495 or marketplace version.
For me I have the 99 pt Ravenloft offered, even though I bought that one for full point price via the in game store 2 years ago.
