No subscription for DDO found
I can't log into the game - I'm getting error specified in the title. Does anyone know a solution to this?

1) You need to have created an account before you can run the game. There's an option to do so at www.ddo.com. If you have already created an account, try the following.

2) Can you log into the forums at https://www.ddo.com/en/forums/forum.php ? It would use the same credentials.

3) Can you log in to account maintenance at https://myaccount.turbine.com/index.php ?

4) If the account you created was VIP (subscription), you are eligible for support from turbine (F2P accounts are strictly limited to 'find it yourself' answers. Try http://www.turbine.com/support

5) Also, if you're logging in from Steam, try without.. find TurbineLauncher.exe and run it and see if the same error occurs.

Throw us back the results of the above and if you still have a problem, we'll see what else we can come up with.....
The problem occured because I was using the same account for DDO as for LotRO, so I had 'inactive' subscription for DDO - I managed to sort everything out with the support. Thanks for help though

Good to hear. Nice to get the feedback once things are working.
...Why would you revive a 5 month old thread to answer a question that was already resolved?

This is only partly true. Free accounts, aka newly created and never spent money, and Premium accounts (Free, but you've spent money on VIP or turbine points) have to use the FAQ and maybe official forums for support. But when you buy turbine points you get 30 days of customer support access as well. Think it's $10 needed to be spent to get the customer support access but I could be wrong. Not that it matters for me, I typically buy turbine points in $20 bundles at a time.

Because this did not resolve MY issue. I have the same issue. Turbine finally helped me. The link I posted is how MY issue was resolved. I though it would be helpful to others with the same issue. Because I like being helpful.

When you buy Turbine Points, you are no longer F2P. Could be my assumption that if you've never logged in, you probably haven't bought TP and therefore are F2P or VIP was wrong, but I'd still lay odds on it.
