The current failure is one of many errors in judgement and programming. Many classes have minor issues that are not bubbling up to the surface. The auction houses are having burps no one is paying attention to and the constant down time doesn't help.
Our player base and SSGs profit margins (possibly DDO survival) are taking massive broadsides that we/they may not survive. Especially, if this poor decision making continues with the upcoming (many) game releases.
I love this game but fear the current folks in charge are missing a few cards when it comes to understanding business and markets. While they obviously love the game, they're too close to it and are not seeing the issues and how tall they are... perspective.
SSG,
Consider hiring someone that understands the current situation, hurdles, the market, impacts to nerfing (really worth it) and most importantly the fundamentals of a QA/QC program, process or some level of screening the sausage making process.
