Can't launch the DDO store from Steam on Linux
I was able to open this before on the same setup.

Is anyone having this problem at the moment?

Best place to find out if anyone else has had the issue is on the official forums.

I don’t use Linux for DDO, though I can suggest some general things like the in-game option to open the store externally if it’s available, running DDO without Steam if you haven’t, and clearing data like cookies from your web browser and making sure it’s updated.

It’s possible it’s related to some recent issues. But I can’t say for sure; nor do I know the causes of possibly related issues.

Same issue. Use to use Play on Linux but updated system and thought I'd try steam this time. Clicking off the UI setting for external browser didn't help. Haven't found a solution. Currently using Ubuntu Mate 20.04.

You should not be using Linux anyway, not meant for gaming. Wine and other such emulators just suck resources from the game. Linux isn't a thing anymore. Either get Windows or a Console.

Well, it's running now with the latest Steam client build.

Submitted a report on ProtonDB that it works.
