Before 10 years we played it with older PC`s ... we got lags.
As i've said on other thread.
game has some issues last few das where entire server got frozen in place for at least 5 minutes.
Official forum has multiple threads of people complaining.
yep its not normal lag atm.

As for the lag...
I've seen far worse lol. But yeah DDO has been unplayable at certain times recently. It doesn't need to be the worst, it's bad enough. But they can't just wave a finger and say lag begone. Nothing involving Steam applies to it at all either.
If you're a VIP subscriber in DDO, then you can ask on the forums if they will consider extending the time due to it being unplayable. Rather than make a new thread, I suggest using this thread because SSG has already responded there: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/513493-Lag-issues
It's not something they're obligated to do, but they might.

Faulty Network connection is DDo answers from game wide lag worldwide..Baby jesus help us..
I am all for lag issues from the Killer virus..But it has actually started a month or so before the US was hit..
"There are eight DDO game servers, named after geographic aspects or organizations of Eberron.[citation needed] After acquiring the game in December 2016,[12] Standing Stone Games deploys the game and maintains daily operations of all servers.[13] The servers used to be geographically distributed, with 14 in North America, 5 in Europe, with others in China and Japan. There were no servers for the Southern Hemisphere market. The game distributed in Australia by Atari was the US version. The servers in North America were operated by Turbine, while those in Europe were maintained by Codemasters and Alchemic Dream. In China, the game was operated by Shanda, and in Japan by Sakura Internet. When the European servers went offline in 2010, players were able to transfer their characters to the American servers"
So as the Wiki has stated servers are US..Please just repair the few servers the company has left and the Subscribers of Ddo ..I am not sure any company on the planet can now afford to attempt to blame customers for server and employee technical issues.... Positive know trolls on steam discussion forums are all well know..It only takes a look at Profiles to see games and hrs played.
Any profiles that are "private" dropping post in most steam games re called "Positive Trolls"
Either way i could care less..Just making it known that alot of members of steam post all positive reviews, owning the game or one they never played..
All DDO players know it is a Game issue, and not some virus that "taking up bandwith" When i see billionaire gaming companies start blaming Fortnite lag on a virus or customers i will edit the post...
It's too bad that you didn't check out my thread on the lag, where I posted the above link 4 hours before you said this. You know the thread that I pointed out you ignored yesterday. Then you wouldn't look positively like a moron right now. Also, it's just a fact of life that it's possible for lag issues to be on your end. Any idiot can figure that out. Apparently not you though. If you'd like to stop looking dumb though and actually go find some proof where a game company is simply blaming players rather than actually trying to figure out the cause of lag, post it here and I'll happily agree with you if it shows what your claiming. Right now all you're proving is that you're choosing to remain willfully ignorant in order to troll.

Hope everyone here clicks your name and reports your profile to Steam for trolling.
No game is perfect. The irony about your intentions and actions is that the experienced players here who aren't making up nonsense the way you are, know better than you do what is wrong with the game. But they're going to talk about those things less because they're spending time responding to your fake posts. You're just wasting your time to make the game look better. So I guess SSG should thank you.
