Client not updating

Anyone having problems with the client updating from last patch? or is there still being work done? Mine just sits there saying " installing pre reqs"

DDO is undergoing data center maintenance apparently.
Estimated downtime was 2am - 12am (22 hours).
Game/Forums etc will probably all be down until its done.

yep only their social media is active. so no gaming until either way late tonight or tomorrow for some

I think they're moving the servers is why it's such a long one.

When I saw yesterday the length of time the update was going to take, thought it must be a misprint...unfortunately not !!!

I also cannot get in. Hopefully this data center maintenance will improve server performance. Last week or so things have been getting worst as far as lag and long load times. Maybe they are upgrading.

cool, thanks. on a different note, does anyone know how to migrate ddo account to steam after i've been paying awhile? i mean something other than uninstall then download through steam.

At the top of the main Steam window there’s a button “games” that has a selection to “add a non-Steam game to library.” But if you want steam features like keeping track of hours played I think you have to download/install through Steam.

Edit: also, you don’t have to uninstall the non Steam DDO in order to install the Steam one.

I’ve only found bits and pieces of info about what they’re doing in several places. It sounds like mostly the work being done is for Lord of the Rings Online. No big deal stuff for DDO that I’ve seen, probably just whatever maintenance they might have done earlier in the week they just saved until this downtime.
