well there are a few options. start a new toon, you can reincarnate into another class or same one, racial tr, continue to level 30. there is now epic and legendary content you can do.

If this is your first life, I'd recommend you reincarnate. It returns you to Level 1, allowing you to make a brand-new toon (new stat choices, race, class, etc) and give you a couple of perks including additional stat points and a permanent bonus based on your previous life's race or class (depending on whether you choose to do a Racial Reincarnation or a Class Reincarnation.

In either event, you simply need to run enough L20+ quests (in Eberron) to collect 20 Tokens of the Twelve, take them to Lahar (alongside the Twelve building) and trade them for the appropriate Heart: Wood for TR, Blood for RR.

Overall info here: http://ddowiki.com/page/Reincarnation

Specifically, read the sections on Heroic True Reincarnation (and Past Life Feats) and Racial Reincarnation (and Racial Past Life Feats).

that is the beauty of being 20 and only have one toon is you have so many choices. if you choose the reincarnation train as we mentioned it will allow you to have a more powerful toon. i do want to add that epic tring is more powerful then heroic/racial. not saying not to do the others but if you were ever to knock out all of it and even do iconic tring. you would have earned a lot of abilities, passives, stances. you would also have a very strong toon.

honestly its what you want to make out of the game. there are some people who only go to cap and stay there. some do the tr aka reincarnation train.

If this is a first-life toon, I'd recommend two TRs as soon as you can collect enough Tokens for the Hearts, for a couple of reasons. First, it gets you up to the maximum stat points (36 point builds; first Tr puts you at 34 whether you already had 32 point builds unlocked or not; second TR gives you 36 for that toon thereafter). Second, it allows that toon to open hard or elite quests at will thereafter.

After that, there's more room for preference: Run to 30 and pley at-cap content forever, run to 30 and ETR, run to 30 and then ETR followed immediately by TR, or continue to TR and gain past life feats with the goal of eventually attaining Completionist, Triple Completionist or Racial Completionist.

Before investing many lives into Epic TRs, I too would recommend purchasing Epic Destinies. They greatly increase the power of your epic toon directly and the effect improves (less dramatically) as you unlock additional destines, which is generally done through ETRs.

It's really nice to have a high level toon to use for item farming if you're not in a rush to TR. It's pretty easy to check out named items on http://ddowiki.com/ If you know what weapons/armor you want to use your next life, it's worth it to try and get them before you start over. A lot of items have a min lvl requirement that is lower than players run the quests at.
