Launcher not scaling with resolutioin changes
I've got a problem that I hope someone knows a solution too. I've recently reinstalled this game through stream after a fairly long hiatus, and am now completely unable to access my games because the launcher is soo small on my screen. I used to have a crappy 19in lcd display, and it showed up fine, but now I'm using a 4k 55inch tv. Regardless of the resolution I set the tv to, the launcher pops open and is only about 3 icons wide (about 3 inches on my screen), and that only because I have system scale set to 350%. When set on reccommended resolution and not expanding scale past 100% the whole loader takes up little more than a single icon wide.

I can force it to load the game by typing in the log in blindly by tabbing through the entries, but without beng able to even see the server list, none the less choosing one, I'm pretty well screwed as far as actually playing. Unless, of course, I want to start from scratch and begin all over again.

So, my question is this, I guess. Is there a way to scale up the resolution of the launcher as well as that of the game itself? Maybe a command line function, or an .ini tweak somewhere? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just discovered that the internal UI scale is set the same way as well, and the menus are also too tiny to interact with. Chat text is unreadable, quest windows require a magnifying glass, etc. Everything in-game is printed like the small print on a bottle of medication. IE if you get your face within an inch of the screen and squint, you might be able to make it out.

Sadly, no. I have the same problem with my 4K monitor. It is a well-known issue, but not one they're making much progress with. http://www.gamergeoff.com/tiny-icons-beautiful-view-the-best-and-worst-way-to-play-ddo/ https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/419996-UI-scale-font-size

Works fine on my 4K, choose any server and then once the game starts it should be in full screen then change the resolution to 4K. If the game starts up in a tiny window hit alt/enter and it should go full screen. Once you change the resolution in game it should resize the launcher.

Well, thanks for the responses, though they aren't what I was hoping to hear. Been playing this off and on for years, and this might just end up being a game breaker for me. Apparently no fix even being looked at either. . .just plain sucks.

DDO Launcher screen size fix.
I have a newer laptop that I installed DDO on. My launcher is so small I can barley use it.

Fix was using the compatability setting for the DDO Launcher.

Open Library
Right Click on Dungeons & Dragons
Choose Properties
Choose Local Files
Choose Browse Local Files
Right Click on TurbineLauncher
Choose Properties
Choose Compatibility
Place check in Override high DPI scaling behavior,
Then change to System Enhanced
Choose Apply
