I was not able to launch it on Steam Deck but maybe someone has been able to.

Tower of Fantasy uses intrusive kernel-level anti-cheat. It is designed to boot you out if you trying to run it on a Linux machine. It is not possible to launch it for now unless the devs allow it.

Ohhh I hope they enable this to work on the SD:steambored:

You can still play it on the Steam Deck but it's needed to be run in Windows OS

Launch it in desktop mode. Many games with extra launcher windows bug the first time (gta 5) for exemple.

Many anti-cheat that are kernel level support Linux.

Yes, but ToF use their own anticheat and it does not support Linux, you can check ProtonDB for reports. As far as I for now, still no one be able to launch ToF on Linux

I already abandon this game when the sign was on the wall that it most likely will not support working on the steam deck.

Both Genshin and ToF have kernel level anti-cheat for PC's that only runs under Windows. If you have Windows OS running on your Steam Deck then yes you can play it.

Chinese games prefers these type of anti-cheat I guess.

This games run already on Android so there must be some level of Linux support already build in. I would love to hear from the devs what exactly the issue is why they don't support it.
