From my Beta experience, this is way more engaging than Genshit Impact, The Gacha aspect is less invading and is more multiplayer than Genshin.

CBT Player here. This is the Genshin Impact I wanted to be. AN ACTUAL MMO that i can invest my time. It has Mega World Boss Event, Rogue like instances and PVP especially PVP (Which is NOT P2W BTW since it's a balanced PVP but still somewhat broken). The gacha rates are very VERY generous compared to Genshin since it has a pity system that doesn't reset regardless if you got 5 star or not, You are guaranteed a 5star every 80 rolls. It has stamina system but it only applies on specific event and doesn't really hinder you to get materials or to play the game unlike Genshit. This is a game that you can actually grind for hours and play completely F2P.

Does it have 100% chance of limited 5star if failed to get the featured one in limited banners like genshin? I heard it stays 50/50 in this game.

In CBT1 and 2, the banners gave a token for each pull. 120 of these tokens (so 120 pulls) can be used to outright buy the weapon in question, assuming you didn't get it in that time. The game's pity system guaranteed SR or SSR every 10 pulls and guaranteed SSR on 40 or 80 pulls depending on the banner type. The only exception is the pulls that costs Black Nuclei (a relatively common drop in-game) which has no pity system.

Haven't played the beta, but watched a few video and from what I've seen the stamina system is only active during combat. When your just out running around, you have unlimited stamina.
I could be wrong, but this is what I've seen at least.

read the rest... The stamina system only give you extra bonus material and exp it doesn't hinder the actual gameplay and grinding.. also you can restore your stamina via food which you can grind as well

I played the cbt and it was nuts!
Game feels more engaging than genshin and have real Multiplayer features.
Combat is nice and not too flashy. You can double jump and fight also in the air.
Only downside are the animations they doesnt look that great compared to genshin.

Genshin Impact it's good but the only thing that bothered me the most was during the fights the management of weaknesses / resistances / elemental combos, fortunately there is not that such thing on Tower of Fantasy, I will just bashing monsters without me worry about applying this or that type of element.

Im a second cbt player.. it is good if you want to run around, clearing out the story and beating all enemies and all that. Cz it has a lot of features that can prevent you from getting bored. I hope they can improve the gameplay smoothness along the way, cz sometimes my attack didnt trigger properly and causing my character just standing, especially after changing weapon. Well, it was still beta I guess

Played a bit, but enough to see how this game was way more engaging than Genshit. You can get like 4 SSR Multi pulls from the first zone by just exploring, + multi pulls for limited banner with the black crystals from dailies and exploration too...

It has a real MMO feel compared to Genshin where you actually see other people roam around in the world and can interact with them (didn't saw much as im EU player playing on CN servers, serv are mostly empty when I'm logged in lol)

You can also freely customize your own character, and either use Simulacra's skins or your own one. Most outfits and such are unlock from achievements, hidden quests, and such

For stamina concerns, it only applies to a few activities, and it won't hinder your progression at all.
