Achievement for beating the game not unlocking

I beat the game, but the achievement for it didn't unlock. Does anyone know why that is?

If it helps solve the problem, I was playing the game on a Mac.

It might happen because non english localization. I've beat the game with russian localization and found that achivement still locked. Fixed this by downloading eng language and re-watching last scene, achievement immediately unlocks after credits.

I played through it in English on Linux and no achievement. If it ever gets fixed, I guess I can re-watch the ending, or just re-play the whole... er, experience.

I'll try to put up an FAQ sometime soon. Basically, the achievement will most likely not work in different languages, and will definitely not work on Mac/Linux.

Why is that the case?! That's not fair to Mac/Linux users who bought the game!

Sorry, I didn't mean to say that it will not work forever, just that this is the status quo. There are some licensing issues I need to figure out for SteamWorks support.

So can we unlock by copying our linux save to windows and rewatching?

Confirmed, Linux users can copy their save overtop of the Windows save and rewatch the ending to get their achievment.

Another confirmation:
Savegame copying worked for me, too.

I played the english linux (Ubuntu12.10 in my case) version and finished the game with a smile (cuz it was good). Then i noticed that the achievement didn't unlock.
After reading some lines in the developer's forum (freebird website) i gave it a try with copying the savegames - it worked as supposed (should have read this forum first).

Dualboot and some research made it work for me, but i wasn't "completely happy" that i had to use Win for it.

Anyway - nice game ;)

Ok, I have finished the game today in Polish. The only options that I have is to start new game load and exit. Is there any place that I can change the language and replay the scene? : (
