Death from above bug

I'm actually completely stuck in the primary mission that teaches you how to use this power. Jumping is fine, but the game ask me to use the right and left click of my mouse to aim and attack during the jump, but it's not doing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing.
Seriously what the hell ? Does anyone have a solution please ? :/

Are you talking about the nuke attack? You have to jump really high for it to work.

- While you're at the top of the jump, press & hold the right-mouse button like if you're aiming a rifle. This will make you float in the air long enough to aim at whatever you're rying to hit.

- When you're ready, click the left-mouse button and the attack should happen.

Yeah I know, this is what the game is asking me to do in that tutorial like mission. But the mouse buttons just don't work, no matter how high I'm jumping, that's my problem. And since this mission is a primary quest, my progression is blocked.

Are your controls (specifically, for aim and attack) mapped to default configuration?

If it is, you could try remapping them to different keys.
If it isn't, you could try resetting them back to default.

I tried, but it didnt solve anything. But I tried something else, the cheat code to get this power specificaly. And after that, well it worked, allowing me to finish this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial mission.
The only problem is, activating cheats desactivate autosaves and achivements, so this solution kinda suck. If Volition could actually fix this in a patch rather than making poor clothing DLC, that would be great, thanks.

Since you passed the tutorial and now have the power using a cheat, can you now do a Death from Above attack in normal gameplay?

Go to Saintsrowmods.com and install the Enable Cheats mod by IdolNinja, as this cheat table won't flag your save as cheating. Too late now if you've already cheated though, so you may have to start a new gaem.

Fortunately I still had a savegame just prior this mission, so I tried it. And well, it worked. Thanks a lot gte634. =)

I followed ToxicGTE advice and its look like this worked, i still have to check if the save is tagged "cheat" but at this point i dont really care.
