Random freezes
I bought Saint Rows 4 today, and this game is running very smooth. But i get some random freezes, while the sound still continues.

Its just random and not at some point. All my drivers are up to date like sound and graphics. Framework is up to date, windows and directx.

It runs very smooth, didnt see any bugs and no lag or framedrops only random freezing. is this a known problem? Or any possible fixes?

I started getting theses freezes after the latest 8/30 patch. No issues with game locks before.
I wonder if this is specific to GPU manufacturer?
GPU: Nvidia GTX 770
CPU: AMD FX 8350
RAM:16 GB @ 2200

Might be as I also have a GTX 770 and my system specs are in order to run it smoothly on ultra.

Have the same problem here, just bought it today, but didn't really get into the game because of this freezing all the time. Everything is up to date, guess we gotta wait for a fix

Same here.

It's not a performance problem, the game runs butter smooth on Ultra at 1080p, better than SRTT did actually, but it just freezes at random now since the last patches.

Before the patches, i did get a couple of freezes, but only on in-mission cutscenes (an issue that's been reported by many since launch), but i wasen't getting them at random durring regular gameplay or when in menu's.

After the patches, it can happen anywhere, and at any time.

GPU: nVidia GF-580 GTX.
CPU: Intel I7 990X.
RAM: 24GB DDR3 1600mhz.

For some reason i have been able to play without freezes, as long as its in windowed mode, doubt it works for everyone but worth a shot i guess

Mine was freezing every minute or less, but this seemed to have fixed it. I'll have to try it out a lot longer later, but it seems fine now.

Thanks!

EDIT:
Ah, fudge. It still freezes. It's kind of worse in this way since now it takes about 30 minutes to freeze. It just froze RIGHT before I completed a mission. Damn.

Mine is still freezing in windowed mode, tried a bunch of different settings to no avail. Really sick of this, spent 20 hours playing it finally trying to finish the damn game and can't get past 1 checkpoint. Terrible.

I'm quite playing, to many crashes.

I got AMD FX-8350 8x4.0 overclocked to 4,8. Even when i turn the overclock off, it will keep crashing.
HD ATI 7970
16 GB DDR3 1600 MHZ
2x 128 SSD, Vertex 3 and Intel 520
1x 2tb Western Digital

It run very smooth on the highest setting, around 60 á 80 FPS. But it keep random crashing. I reinstall windows, installed the latest drivers, soundblaster, graphics, mouse, keyboard, framework, directx and it keep crashing..
