Can somebody who already started the game send me a Display file? This retarded autodetect happenda AFTER game start, and it starts on 3k fps. That almost killed my videocard. And i CANT change options manually, because file is f*cking CLEAR before first complete launch.

Nothing you do will change it asside from enabling V-Sync
NIKENIT Aug 23, 2013 @ 1:53am
I can set resolution to 1920x1080, NOT 800x600 (basic first trart resolution).

No one has any idea what you're talking about so you're not gonna get many answers unless you clarify what the hell you're on about.

Saints row 4 uses VERY retarded system - it creates "display" file (with video config) only AFTER first start of the game (going to menu). For me, first start is impossible, because first 2 opening videos almost burn my videocard (3600 fps, ffs, and my video has a problem with high fps, common one). And i CANT manually change resolution and turn vsync on, because before first launch, "Display" file is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EMPTY. So, can ANYONE give me his "Display" file with, so i could copy it to game's folder and... START the game? (sorry for bad english, not my main language)

No one's going to give you a "display file". If the first two opening videos are overheating your video card then you need a new video card. Either that or you could just mash space to get to the menu and skip the videos.

ESC also works. Also try taking the side off your PC to let more airflow in while you play

Really. Are you that stupid? My video has a problem with HIGH FPS. On first 2 videos (turn on your Fraps to see) FPS goes to 3500-3700. Yes, that's a video card problem. In fact, almost any GForce card from Palit (mine - GTX 570) has this problem. It works fine, just overheats and does strange noices on very high fps (more then 200). If you just an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and dont want to help by giving a person 2kb file - than just move along.

Here knock yourself out.

# Poor frame rate on low-end GPU’s can be aided by the following options.
# * The presets are geared toward GPU performance. Using auto-detect should choose settings appropriate for your GPU.
# * Resolution and lighting detail have the biggest effect.
# * Post processing has a major effect on GPU performance when set to high.

I see that you have Saints Row The Third. If that game doesn't fry your videocard try copying display.txt file from SRTT, given that you still have it installed somewhere. That should work since The Third and Inauguration Station (and therefore SRIV) settings files are practically identical.

Dude the videos are SUPPOSED to have high fps. For me with SR3 and SR4 the pre-rendered videos skyrocket to like 15k fps and my video card doesn't make a sound. If your video card can't handle it then you SERIOUSLY need a new video card. Any video card that has a problem with high fps is one that needs throwing in the trash stat.

My PC consistantly gets over 200FPS on alot of games, Geforce GTX 680 and I have NEVER had any overheating issues
NIKENIT Aug 23, 2013 @ 2:51am
I see a lot of people, who never actually tried to LOOK in their pc's. And read posts. I already said - my video card works FINE and FAST, its just 1 priblem with high fps, which is fixed in 1 sec by turning on vsync. This is a COMMON problem, try to google it. If you dont have it - than GOOD FOR YOU. The only way to fix it is to buy new video, and i DONT have money on it right now.

You don't have the money for a new card when they're not even expensive. Honestly you pay more for a bloody smartphone than you do for a video card these days. Get a grip.
