It might be just me... But I thought that was completely over rated for a weapon. I thought that the only reason why people use it is for the novelty, and because it's funny beating someone to death with a 4ft long Purple, rubber dildo, but honestly, I never found it to be a particularly effective weapon and I always thought the hadouken fist weapon thing (can't remember the name) is better and funnier :).

Also you can change between 3 skins for it at Friendly Fire, I'm impartial to the Candy Striping :P

As for other hidden things I've found the Tiny Pistol (reference to Men in Black) and the Salem from SR:TT.

Well who knows what upgrades there might be for it, I thought the bat was bad then i got an upgrade and it turns every person you hit with it into bloody little bits

Only upgrades for it in this game is 3 skins (default, candy striping, and a blue one).

Goverment wanted to forbit this game in Australia, because they thought, that there's a lot of violence in a game, but they only forced developers to delete penetrator and bonus mission.
