Shoot both lights, then execute the guards.

Yes, despite their "WTF?" emotion playing, they don't actually do anything to try and find you... unless you kill one of them with a light still on... which results in an auto-fail and Asha screaming bloody murder because apparently one bad guy is enough to randomly kill you after it fades to the fail screen.

You have to hit both lights before taking out the guards.

I got a little messed up here thinking that I had to shoot the light and then the guard below it.

Also if for some reason the next door doesn't open because your follower disappears, you'll have to either restart from checkpoint or from the begining of the mission to fix it.

Incase you aren't aware, this is actually a parody on the Metal Gear Solid games; whenever you died someone who worked with you would just yell your name over and over at the gameover screen.

Two lights *bam bam* Two guards *pew pew* Done. I'll admit it took me a few tries as well, especially after having to repeat the same damn air vent /6/ times .-.

Yeah... I think I'm on attempt #14 before I read this thread. Seriously had been wasting a half hour trying to get it right.

Umm... that part was a cake walk. If you have your gameplay set on Hardcore difficulty, the boss fight is a ♥♥♥♥♥ and a half. I've attempted it about 4-5 times now and haven't determined a survivable strategy yet.

The best, most logical course of action I've concluded from 4-5 deaths is...
- Focus on Mr. X (a.k.a. your Evil Twin)
- Destroy Generators ASAP Once they Appear
- Roll and dive often to new cover, avoiding murderbots and more Masako Guards
- Keep Focusing Fire Until Mr. X drops.

While all the guides I've read so far suggest this fight isn't significantly difficult in any way, if you're playing on Hardcore I have to beg to differ. You can follow the guidelines I mentioned above to the letter, but Asha will inevitably need reviving at some point guaranteed.

I'd say "to hell with her, leave her down" though even if her damage output is more worthless than the tits on a boar, she still plays that all-important role of drawing a murderbot's fire and attention as well as the Masako Guards.

I can't see anyone ever being able to handle that fight solo on Hardcore, and if some smartass reads this and intends to claim they "totally have" ... video or it didn't happen. Period. One last note that may save one player's time and death count out of a thousand, maybe...

I started out thinking with a sniper rifle, he'd have the impairment I've noticed we as the players have ... and that's not being able to aim or shoot anyone too directly UNDER you. Well, don't waste attempts on that idea, because pfff... the only spots you're not going to take a sniper shot - devastating and needs to be avoided at all costs - is diving for cover behind something.

I'd love to hear from anyone that has any type of trick or method that worked for them!

EDIT[/b]
Alright, a couple more runthrough attempts and I realize maybe it's not as hard as I originally experienced. Also, you probably can[/b] leave Asha down... because I was dealing with running from trash mobs just as much as when she was up and alive. The only concern would be... the mission likely fails if you don't revive her within the timer limit.

Biggest obstacle at this point seems to be those damn murderbots with the 'rifle' arms that sure seem more like fkin minigun arms rather than 'rifles', but I wasn't too far from taking him down on my last attempt. I should be able to finish the mission in 2-3 more attempts... hopefully...
