How about that forced aim assist?

I know someone will pop in here to tell me that there is no aim assist, but they're wrong. It was in SR3 and it's also present here, even if you don't notice it yourself. In SR3, the way you removed the aim assist, was by plugging in a USB controller, and there would be an option for it in the gamepad menu. In this however, there is no such option found anywhere.

Anyone know if there is a way to disable this auto aim? Maybe messing with a text file? It's an insult to PC gaming when they force auto aim. It only serves to distract me and ruin my actual aiming by pulling my view around whenever I aim at any kind of moving target. Don't believe me? Just agro some Zin and use fine aim while one of them is moving, without moving your mouse. You'll find the game pulls you towards where he is moving, whether you want it to or not.

Have just tried it, and it doesn't do what you claim it would do. No auto-aim, no clipping to targets, no moving anything against my will. Unless there is a specific sequence of obscure actions should be performed for auto-aim to kick in it doesn't exist in this game.

Yeah i also noticed the aim helper.
Searched all over the options to turn it off but found nothing.

Didn't think of looking in the gamepad options since i'm using K/M and my gamepad is unpluged

It's absolutely in there, I have no idea how you have managed to avoid seeing it (or perhaps avoided having it, lucky) but it's in there and its really annoying.

Download file called aim_assist.xtbl and drop it to main game folder, you can find it quite easily on google.
