Offline Play and Achievements

I have played offline ALL NIGHT and I got NOT ONE achievement. Who am I pointing the finger at?

If you didn't restart steam after unpacking this sometimes happens. I'm missing the first 3 or 4 achievements because of this on this game and I think Tomb Raider.

So restart the game or restart Steam?

Restart steam itself and when you go in-game again make sure you see the achievements in the bottom portion of the steam overlay.

Yeah. I got some. But not the start-of-game ones. (1st Mission, 1st power, etc.)

I read something online a few months ago that to get achievements offline, you must have run it online at least once so that it syncs with the achievement server or something first. After that first time, then you can get achievements offline.

Sometimes playing offline won't give you achievements. I don't know if that's the case here, but Fallout New Vegas didn't give me a boatload of achievements before I started playing online. It started tracking them from that point; didn't give me credit for what I had done offline.
