It's in the prologue only... Same way you wore a Gat suit in SR3...
I was being sarcastic :p
I honestly couldn't give less of a crap what The Boss looks like in the opening mission. The model was, as in SR3, designed to be gender-neutral, and I'd say it did its job perfectly. You, however, are very quick to throw the word, "misogynist" out, and seem to think you know how others think. That makes you the prejudiced one here, with how you refer to us as "beating up" on OP, saying that we would be "whining" if the MC were clearly female in the opening mission. A few people might, but I wouldn't really care, because the mission takes all of five minutes, less if you just run through it without listening to the dialogue. You need to drop this attitude that men are out to get you, and hate women, and you need to do that right now.
Nobody's "afraid" of the game being polished and sound, because IT ALREADY IS. YOU are the one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about an insignificant matter, and YOU are the one starting something over nothing, when you could have just been a normal person and kept your damn mouth shut about something so trivial. Instead, you had to make a thread on the matter, knowing that the discussion boards are very quick to dogpile on people that whine. How about in the future, instead of trying to stand up against what you perceive as injustice, you take a step back and make sure that it's actually something that matters, and not something stupid, like a character model being gender-neutral for the first five minutes of the game, before you get to customize your character, and have them look exactly like you want for the entirety of the game from that point? Follow that advice, and you won't have so many people telling you how stupid you're acting.
Also, canonically, The Boss is a man. Saints Row 1 had you play as a male. 2, 3, and now 4 give you the option, but even the box-art for Saints Row IV has a male Boss on the cover. You should consider yourself lucky that you can even play as a female.
Damn you beat me to it... Yeah I'm mad as hell & this outrage need to be fixed where is my horizontally challenged character? It sickens me that the fluffy people are tread upon so grievously. Why am I stuck playing a anorexic/bulimic, gender neutral ♥♥♥♥ bag? this travesty need to be address NOW. Seriously though Freyr94 you're a idiot if you actually believe the first outfit is an issue that needs to be fixed.
Believe me, this little issue I'm having is in no way affecting my outlook on the game in its entirety, I love this game, I just wish the dev's had taken a bit more time smoothing things out. I've found multiple issues with graphics, character creation, clipping issues with clothes, camera problems, the list goes on. I'm sure most of these things will be fixed in up coming patches as every game does this. Not to say that the outfit is a glitch, but an inconsistancy I saw and didn't like, so I thought I would mention it and see if others felt the same way. Fyi, most don't.
Thankyou for the non-nasty comment. :)
