"Waiting for host to accept connection"

Hey,

A friend and I were trying to play some co-op but we couldnt join either of our games ...
Just got the message that is in the tittle and then get booted back to the title screen

any ideas?

Was able to co-op on the older game just fine :(

Just starting having this problem myself. Maybe it's just a temporary server issue.

same here me and my mate were in a game both got kicked off steam then would not let us join each other we testing a few thing now

Same issue here. Was in a game, got dropped. Steam was telling me I wasn't connected to Steam, check internet (which was fine). Ended up rebooting and Steam connected back. Now I cant connect to that same friend I was playing with earlier.

Tried connecting to my other pc via steamworks...it didnt work either...on my end I see waiting for host...on the host machine, I see nothing at all.

just to let you know its a steam issue we have tryed 5 games they all do the same thing

Same problem here, friend can't join my game or vice versa. We were playing just fine earlier too.

Yesterday my both pcs worked fine now they waiting for accepting and then back to the lobby.
I hope it will be fixed tommorow -_- no wonder why people dont pay for games anymore

Aye, my buddy and I are having the same problem. Not sure what we can do other than wait, as it doesn't seem to a be client-side problem.

Yeah, this just cropped up for me right now as well, it was working fine last night.

Steam just pushed another update out....anyone want to check if that fixed it?
