I just checked and confirmed that the US Steam storefront does list Windows Vista as part of the minimum requirements. Is it not listed for you? If so, what region are you in?

Europe says the same -
Minimum:
OS: Windows Vista (x86 or x64)

It's because IIRC it doesn't support Windows 9 and XP only goes upto 9

I believe he said Windows XP... Not Vista.

XP is not even going to be supported by Windows anymore. Very few new games are going to run an an outdated OS. There have been 3 new OS's released since XP.

Right. I'm saying that the store should be listing Vista as the minimum requirements (which he doesn't meet.) If it doesn't state that then we'll need to correct it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but XP provides DirectX 9. This game requires at least DirectX 10, which is Vista and newer.

But more than 50 per cent of all computer users still have Windows XP all around the world. Many studies showed it already. I did not study informatics. To change to another system I have to look for someone who is able to install a new system on my computer and that will cost money. And I live in Europe by the way... And I will have to pay for a new system and for someone who will install it... It will cost about 1 000 dollars all together... Very nice... Who is funny here... Are you billionaires?

I will not pay so much money for changing the system because of games...

You will need to upgadre your OS anyway. Gaming is the least of your worries. ;)

What???

An OS that came out in 2001? We have had Windows Vista Come and go, Windows 7 and now we have Windows 8.

How mnay people are still on Windows 98? Or can even launch any programs on it? Developers are not going to program software for out of date Operating Systems.

You need a new OS if you plan on playing any new games or run any new software. If you simply want to play games I suggest getting an Console.

IE: Xbox or PS3.
