The homie for this objective is currently unavailable.
I've been loving the game so far, as much as SRTT, but this is pretty frustrating.
This "The homie for this objective is currently unavailable." message keeps coming up, when the homie is just there waiting.
I could tolerate missing A LOT of side quests, but then the main mission was stuck with that message. ("Talkie Talkie" mission, to be exact.)
So I completely removed game and started a new game with new save. It seemed fine at first, then it started again with the very first side quest-well, I don't remember the name, but the one with Keith.
I've been searching for a solution for days and weeks, but no clue anywhere. Even though there are many others having the same issue.

So.....I'm almost hopeless now, but does anyone know how to fix this?

Deleted my earlier post, seems this is the correct way to fix it:

I had the problem where all my homies are unavailable (Pierce, Kinzie, Matt, Ben).

1. Remove all mods. I'm not sure if this is required, but it may have caused the issue so just to be safe. (Add them back later I guess if you want).

2. Go to the simulation. Call the homie that was unavailable in the quest. You can call up to three of them to join you.

3. Dismiss them all, Save the game, new slot.

4. Load the new save game. They should now be available in quests.

(If that does not work, save the game while they are in your party. Don't dismiss them before saving. Then load the game again.)

I've done it to two of my save games. Fixed the issue, and I can turn in the quests finally.

Sorry for replying to such an old post, but THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was at 75% completion, and Shaundi's quest bugged out on me! I was about to quit the game out of sheer frustration, but I found your solution and it worked! THANK YOU!
I don’t even remember what the issue was or how I figured that out! But I’m glad it helped a bunch of folks here!
