Dubstep gun messed up by DLC

I am not sure if I am just stupid, or if Saints Row messed up, but the Dubstep gun doesn't play dubstep with the DLC dubstep gun remix. I am quite disapointed with this, and would like to know if there is a way to turn off the DLC or if it really is in the game, I just get the original later. I am only level 6 by the way. Please help, or a great part of the game will be lost on me.

The DLC dubstep gun and the original dubstep gun are 2 seperate guns.You will only get the original white dubstep gun later on in the game and it plays the original dubsteps.
